“Kanto”

A good friend of mine, up and coming musical artist, Michael Garcia, came to me and asked a tremendous favor, to make a cover for his first professionally produced music single. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. We tackle the key nostalgia of our childhood, Pokemon, and produced a fun, energetic single cover to reflect the music made. The combination of primary and secondary colors represent the original Pokemon from “Fire Red,” including the likes of Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. The font is representative of the “Pokemon” font marketed with the brand since 1996.

To the left is a mini animated graphic with the name of the album “Kanto”bumping in motion with the main beat of the song. The album name is complimented by the swirly shades of green representing the creators favorite Pokemon: “Bulbasaur”
